As the creative force behind ESCALA, I design bold swimwear and versatile activewear that celebrate confidence, movement, and modern sophistication. My journey began with SPUNK—a breakout brand that made waves across the Caribbean in the ‘80s and ‘90s, from luxury resorts like Sandals and St. James Club to the global runways of Paris and Germany.

Inspired by theater and performance, my designs fuse vibrant style with flattering fits and premium fabrics. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of creating swimsuits for Miss World and Miss Universe pageants, including the winning look worn by Lisa Hanna, Miss Jamaica World in 1993. Collaborations with fashion icons like Mickey Haughton James and Kingsley Cooper have fueled my passion for pushing creative boundaries.

In 2022, I brought that same spirit to the global stage, designing custom bodysuits for the Jamaican Bobsled Team at the Winter Olympics in China—drawing inspiration from the national flag and the iridescent wings of the Doctor Bird.

Now based in the U.S., I’m proud to introduce ESCALA: a collection born from heritage, driven by innovation, and made for those who move boldly. Welcome to the journey.
